Date
Pretty straightforward, the number shape is the last digit of the date created. White dots inside the numeral silhouette add 10 for each dot.
Month
The position of the sun in the Earth's analemma. Top is June/July, bottom is December/January. The crossing could either be April or September, the difference is subtle.
